Approach to Therapy

When we work together, we will create more ease in your life. I will help you recognize and embrace your strengths, reframe your self-defeating belief systems, and embrace your authentic self. Things don't have to be so hard and you don't have to do this alone. Together, we will explore and take control of your personal narrative. You will deepen your self-awareness and create meaningful and long-lasting change.

Areas of Expertise

I am a certified ADHD & Executive Function Coach by the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA), one of the few fully accredited PPAC/ICF certification programs. I do both individual and group coaching for adults with ADHD to help them better understand and work with their unique brains. I am currently working towards a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and will begin seeing therapy clients under John Armando's supervision in September 2023. I have done training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing. I am currently undergoing training in EMDR (trauma treatment) and Internal Family Systems Therapy. I also co-host a podcast called "The Wavy Brain," about the intersection between work, life, and neurodiversity, and co-author a blog called, "Changing the Narrative on ADHD" on Psychology Today.

Experience and Training

My experience spans the legal, educational, and counseling sectors. Counseling is my second career, and I previously worked as an attorney for ten years and hold a J.D. from Columbia Law School. I also hold a Master's in Teaching with a focus on Special Education from Pace University.
