Approach to Therapy:
With a background in music and the performing arts, Jonathan brings a unique perspective to treatment. Therapy with Jonathan is a creative and collaborative process, in which client and therapist work together to uncover the unique possibilities and strengths that reside in every individual. Accepting and empathetic, he offers a resonant space for individuals to explore their experiences, define their values, discover new ways of being, and live with greater freedom in this world.

Areas of Expertise:
Jonathan specializes in treating adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma, and works with individuals to help them navigate a variety of difficult life choices and transitions. Treatment is tailored to each individual, drawing from the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.  Sensitive to the complexities of diversity and social justice, he offers multicultural therapy that takes into account each person’s singular identity and history.  

Experience and Training:
Jonathan received his MSW from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy and Practice. He has completed one year of training at the Gestalt Training Institute of Philadelphia where he is also a member of the Change Team, a body which focuses on promoting Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Antiracism.  Jonathan has experience working in community mental health and college counseling settings.
